Our Approach to Safety
At Restore Clinic, safety means being proactive rather than reactive. We maintain established safety and emergency-response protocols and remain attentive to each client’s comfort and observable response throughout treatment.
Client safety takes priority over beginning, continuing, or completing any service.
Client Preparation and Disclosure
Clients are responsible for providing complete and accurate information requested on intake and consent forms and for notifying Restore Clinic of relevant changes before treatment.
Please disclose if you have previously experienced fainting, dizziness, nausea, lightheadedness, or other physical reactions associated with needles, blood, tattooing, cosmetic procedures, or extended appointments.
Clients should arrive comfortably fed and hydrated, unless otherwise directed by their own healthcare provider.
Providing this information allows us to prepare appropriately and maintain a safe treatment environment. It does not constitute medical evaluation or diagnosis.
Personally Prescribed Emergency Medications
Restore Clinic does not stock, provide, prescribe, dispense, administer, recommend, or provide instructions regarding medications.
If you have been prescribed an emergency medication for a known condition or allergy, such as an epinephrine auto-injector or rescue inhaler, you are responsible for:
- Bringing your prescribed emergency medication to your appointment.
- Maintaining and using it according to the instructions provided by your healthcare provider.
- Knowing how to use your prescribed medication as instructed by your healthcare provider.
- Providing relevant information requested during Restore Clinic’s intake process.
If you disclose that you have been prescribed an emergency medication but arrive without it, Restore Clinic reserves the right to decline to begin treatment. You may be required to retrieve your medication or reschedule your appointment before treatment can proceed.
This requirement is part of Restore Clinic’s safety and treatment policy. It is not medical advice or a determination that a particular medication is medically necessary for you.
Questions concerning medical conditions, medications, or medication instructions must be directed to your own licensed healthcare provider.
Safety Comes Before Completing Treatment
Restore Clinic providers remain attentive to observable physical and behavioral signs of distress throughout treatment.
If your provider observes signs that continuing the procedure may not be appropriate, treatment will stop.
A client’s request to continue does not override Restore Clinic’s decision to pause or discontinue its service.
Clients will not be permitted to “push through” observable signs of distress simply to complete a procedure.
Restore Clinic will follow its established safety and emergency-response protocols within the provider’s training and professional scope.
Emergency Response
Restore Clinic does not diagnose the cause of an unexpected physical response or provide medical treatment.
Our responsibility is to recognize observable concerns, stop the procedure, protect the client’s immediate safety within our training and scope, follow established safety protocols, and obtain emergency assistance when necessary.
If a client loses consciousness during an appointment, Restore Clinic will call 911.
Emergency medical services may also be contacted when circumstances reasonably indicate that emergency assistance is appropriate.
During an unexpected event, the immediate safety situation will be addressed first. Appointment, scheduling, and payment logistics will be addressed afterward.
Safety-Related Treatment Interruptions
If treatment must be stopped for safety reasons, your immediate well-being comes first.
We understand that unexpected circumstances happen. Safety-related interruptions will be handled fairly, reasonably, and with consideration for the individual circumstances. Our goal is not to penalize a client for experiencing an unexpected event.
The appropriate administrative next step may depend on factors such as:
- Whether treatment had begun and how much of the service was completed.
- Whether treatment-specific products, pigments, cartridges, or other single-use materials had already been opened or used.
- Whether the remaining portion of treatment can appropriately be completed at another appointment.
- Whether the service needs to be rescheduled in full.
- Whether the interruption was unexpected or resulted from a previously communicated client preparation requirement.
Restore Clinic will consider the circumstances and work with the client to determine a fair and reasonable administrative resolution consistent with the treatment already provided and resources already used.
Any applicable rescheduling, treatment credit, remaining balance, or additional treatment fee will be clearly explained before additional treatment is scheduled.
We will never continue a treatment simply because time, products, or money have already been invested in the appointment. Safety comes first.
Failure to Meet a Safety or Preparation Requirement
If a client has not met a previously communicated safety or preparation requirement, Restore Clinic may decline to begin treatment until the requirement has been addressed.
For example, if a client has disclosed that they have been prescribed an emergency medication for a known condition but arrives without that medication, Restore Clinic may require the client to retrieve it or reschedule the appointment.
Applicable booking, cancellation, or rescheduling policies may apply.
This decision relates only to whether Restore Clinic will provide its service under the circumstances presented. It is not medical advice or a medical determination regarding the client’s condition.
Restore Clinic’s Non-Medical Scope
Restore Clinic is not a medical practice.
Restore Clinic does not provide:
- Medical advice
- Medical diagnoses
- Medical treatment
- Prescription or non-prescription medications
- Medication management
- Instructions regarding the use of a client’s medications
- Recommendations to begin, discontinue, change, or use a medication
Questions regarding a medical condition, medication, or whether a treatment is medically appropriate for an individual must be addressed with the client’s own licensed healthcare provider.
Restore Clinic determines only whether Restore Clinic will begin, continue, pause, postpone, or discontinue the cosmetic or paramedical service it provides.
Our Safety Standard
Clients always retain the right to decline or discontinue a service.
At the same time, Restore Clinic retains the right and responsibility to stop, postpone, or decline a service when the provider observes a safety concern or when Restore Clinic’s safety requirements have not been met.
A client cannot waive a provider’s safety decision by requesting to continue treatment.
Safety is never something you are expected to “push through.”
Our goal is to provide every client with a professional environment where concerns are recognized early, established protocols are followed, and unexpected circumstances are handled with safety, fairness, and consideration.
